Assistant Professior Gabriela Kurtz shares how she incorporated Indigenous perspectives to encourage students to think about social media use as more than just clicks and subscribers: how do we use it build community and what boundaries do we need to set to protect those same communities? Students wrote one sentence intention statements about their projects to capture this complexity: "My project will tell a story about X, from Y perspective, while protecting Z".
